After the celebrations during the wedding ceremony where the best wedding dresses are displayed, the next queue for most couples is a honeymoon to unwind. As you plan your wedding, you should also plan for that time when you will want to go in seclusion with your spouse.

Some couples dream about honeymoons that are adventurous, where lots of activities are on the bucket list. But if you are the type who wants to unwind and relax after all the wedding planning, then a beach destination for your wedding might do the trick.

You might want to wake up to the incredible view of the beautiful sea, spending your days at the beach, enjoying one another’s company. Refreshing cocktails and relaxing spas might also be part of your plan.

The following are some of the top beach destinations for your honeymoon that you might choose from:

  • The The Maldives in Asia – a resort that is a luxury world-class

Also referred to as a paradise found on earth, it is a tropical nation that is in the Indian ocean, having more than 1000 coral islands and about 26 strolls that are ring-shaped. With beaches that have white sand, blue lagoons, water that is crystal clear, extensive reefs, visiting the Maldives might be the best beach destination for a honeymoon in the world.

The Maldives is also known to house some of the gorgeous and luxurious resort options in the world. Once you go there, you will want to return there for your first anniversary. Visit local islands such as Maafushi,  the capital, Male, and have local experience.

The best weather when you should visit the Maldives is between November through to April. You will need to ensure that you avoid a June because that is when the monsoon season is picking up. It begins in May and goes through up to October. June is its peak. December through to March is the highest peak in the Maldives, but you should pay more and visit during this dry season. During the rainy season, there is little you can do in the Maldives except to hide out in your resort.

Things you can do in the Maldives include diving or snorkeling and swim with sharks, whales, sea turtles, manta rays, and dolphins. Go to island hopping or resort. While in the Maldives, you can choose to stay in various places.

If you want a luxurious six-star experience, then Reethi Rah is the place to stay. For a stylish vacation at half the price, it is worth it; then, the Holiday Inn Kandooma is the one to choose from.

  • The Philippines in Asia, for vibes of relaxing on beaches with white sand: Being famous for having some of the best beaches in Asia, it has a laid back and relaxed vibe. You might start returning every year after the experience you will be accorded on your honeymoon.

The best time to visit the Philippines is during the dry seasons, which happens to be its peak time. In March and April, the temperatures are high, and thus, you might want to travel during the cooler months, December through to February.

When in the Philippines, you can go to Boracay’s cliff point, such as Ariels point, to enjoy cliff jumping. At Aguinid and Tumalog Falls, located in Cebu, chase the waterfalls and also experience some canyoneering.

The best time for you to visit Bali is between April to July. It is because that is the time when the weather is great. At such times, the peninsula’s western side seems to create the best waves in the world, which are great when it comes to water sports activities like snorkeling, scuba diving, and much more.
