Five Fall wedding party favours to make your guests feel warm and cozy

Planning your wedding is sometimes overwhelming, there are some small details that sometimes get overlooked, like party favors. Your wedding dress is the most important, so the little things are sometimes thought of at the end of the wedding planning. Party favors can be a nice treat for your guests at the end of the evening and a special way to thank them for attending your wedding. Here are 5 ideas for fall wedding party favors for your guests to enjoy on a warm cozy fall evening.

  1. Wine

Depending on the size of your wedding and of course, your budget, there are many fabulous fall wines that you can make at home months before the wedding (the earlier the better). You could have a custom label made, with the bride and grooms name and date of the wedding etched across it. Everyone loves wine, imagine sipping on a Zinfandel with a blackberry flavour, or a grenache with its fruity cherry flavour all ideal for a cool fall evening.

  1. Scented candles

Scented candles are always a big hit, they are offered in an assortment of smells and when lit, they make any room in the house a cozy and inviting atmosphere. There are many fall scented candles to choose from, your guests could choose whichever aroma they prefer. Display the candles on table and make sure you have a nice ribbon tied around with the bridal couple’s name and date. Here are some of the best selection of fall candles that you can find in a jar or a tin. Vanilla, pumpkin, apple pie, cinnamon, woodchip, cranberry and pine and I’m sure if you wanted you could have a custom scented selection, or just pick one scent for all the guests. These aromas would be wonderful to have, especially over the Christmas period when you are entertaining.

  1. Chocolate

Everyone loves chocolate, and one of the favorite party favors is chocolate. There are small boxes with just a few chocolate truffles that are always a hit, or a small sachet filled with hot chocolate and marshmallows to take home to have on a chilly fall night.

  1. Honey

Honey is something we all need to have in the kitchen cupboard in the fall, a teaspoon of honey in a drink will sooth away your winter ailments. To receive a small pot of honey with the bridal couples’ names and wedding date is sure to put a smile on your guests faces. When the jar is empty you can refill with more honey, or one of your favorite spices.

  1. Pie in a jar

This is something special that your guests will love to take home. Apple crumble or cherry in a jar, and it can be eaten up to a few weeks after the wedding. Imagine sitting around the fireplace with this delicious treat, remembering the bride and groom and the fun time you had while attending their wedding.
