A love story featuring OUR Brides in OUR Wedding Dresses

Katie and Ryan met each other through a mutual friend when they were in their freshman year at University of Southern California.

Katie always knew that what they had was something special and hoped that the universe would agree. And, it did! One day, Ryan and Katie were walking along the shoreline after having a tasty lunch at the Surf and Sand Resort in Laguna Beach. As they were walking, Ryan suddenly stopped, looked at Katie and dropped down on one knee to pop the question. Of course, Katie said YES!

Their beautiful wedding was held on 22 nd July, 2017 at the grand Richard Nixon Presidential Library in Yorba Linda, California.

Katie’s favorite memory of her wedding was when she saw Ryan standing at the end of the aisle as her father guided Katie through the rose petals lining the walkway. She says that it was an incredible experience stating their vows to one another in front of all of their closest friends and relatives.

Katie bought her spectacular Calla Blanche dress from Mon Amie Bridal Salon in Costa Mesa, California.

 

What made Katie fall in love with her Calla Blanche Dress for her special day was that even though the dress was the second dress Katie tried, she immediately fell in love with its timeless elegance and knew it was the one. When Katie came out of the fitting room, both Katie’s mother and she immediately started to cry. Katie tried on a few more dresses; however, no dress could compare to the gorgeous ivory raw silk and intricate beading of the ball gown. She says that people are still talking about how gorgeous the dress was and it has been over 6 months! (Wow!)
