Our Four Favorite Celebrity Weddings

Updated: Apr 13

As a community of women who love all things entertainment, we always find ourselves drawn to the glitz and glam of those who live in the spotlight. We identify with their personalities, the roles they play, their values and principles, and we ultimately make the decision to follow them and all their projects very closely. Whether we like it or not, one of the most fascinating things about our favorite celebrities is when we find out that, just like us, they too fall in love and have their own happily ever after. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t, but that doesn’t take away from the excitement of reading about every single detail of how their weddings came to be. From the venues, to the menus, and everything in between, here are some of the most spectacular elements that made these the most talked about weddings of the last two decades. Consider them a source of inspiration for your own wedding day.

William and Kate

It was on April 29, 2011 that every girl’s Prince Charming tied the knot with long-time girlfriend Kate Middleton in a lavish ceremony that became a national holiday in the UK. In keeping with traditions, the beautiful bride wore something old -the lace on her dress-, something new -her diamond earrings-, something borrowed -the tiara belongs to the Queen-, and something blue -a blue ribbon inside her dress sewed on by Sarah Burton of Alexander McQueen. 2000 distinguished guests including nobles and dignitaries and high-profile celebrities joined the festivities. While your wedding might not include a royal procession or a budget of $34 million, you might find some inspiration in her stunning Alexander McQueen wedding dress, which reminds us of our Jonalyn #120105

Harry and Megan – LA20126 Jaliyah

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle defied the odds and the monarchs for their own happily ever after.
