The Bride’s Survival Guide: Things You Might Run Out Of During Wedding

A wedding is a special event that should be celebrated not expensively but romantically and beautifully. There are many things you have to consider when planning for a wedding, it is not just your wedding dress you have to focus on but other important things like the venue, the food, the guest list, the seating chart, and so on.

Also, you have to make sure that everything at your wedding is enough and you will not have any problems and regrets during the wedding celebration and after that. It is the little things that you tend to forget very easily, hence it is necessary that you have a checklist of things you need to bring and things you have to get extra for the wedding, including the quantity.

Things You Have To Make Sure You Have Enough On Your Wedding

Just to help you get started, below are some of the things that most of the time run out on weddings – and you should be very wary about:

  • Lipstick

Are you surprised? Yes, lipstick most of the time runs out hence you have to make sure you have enough of it. Lipstick is the most used as you apply it on your lips almost every 20 minutes. Just to make sure you won’t run out of it, have a spare lipstick on your pouch. You can choose a different shade for a different look.

  • Vases for your flowers

Sure, after the wedding, there are a lot of flowers that will be left on the site. Some of your wedding party may also leave their bouquet. To give your wedding a good remembrance even if you are already home, bring as many flowers as you can. Have enough flower vases so you can bring your flowers home peacefully and retain its freshness.

Most of the time, there are many flowers that couples cannot bring home because they failed to bring enough vases.

  • Wedding cake

Whether you have a sweet tooth or none, it is important that you leave yourself a cake. Sure, you want to taste at least a slice of your wedding cake. Sure, your guests may be too full to eat your cake after dinner but you cannot stop them from bringing home some of the cake.

It is best if you ask your baker to bake you a separate small cake that you can bring home.

  • Water bottles

Yes please, make sure that you have enough water bottles to give away to your guests. This is one of the most usual that runs out in weddings. People will tend to get bottled water even before the wedding ceremony starts. Also, it is a general rule that you have to give your guests enough water to drink after they drink beer or any type of alcohol.

Do not depend on the water supply to the catering service or bartender as you have to make sure that there is enough.

  • Rewards

One of the things you have to make sure of is there are enough rewards to give away to guests participating in games. You might have prepared a lot of games but forget that you need to give away enough rewards. Also, consider that there can be a chance that players are tied.

Anyway, if there is excess on the rewards, you are free to bring it home.

  • Wedding favors

Make sure that all your guests will have a wedding favor to bring home. Instead of bringing just enough, bring extra to make sure that if there are unexpected guests, they can also have something to bring home.

You can bring 5% more of the total number of your guests.

  • Rose petals

Another thing that most couples forget to bring enough is rose petals. Sure, it is nice if there are a lot of rose petals to be thrown at you after the wedding ceremony or when you enter the wedding reception venue. Bring as many rose petals as you can as it will add drama on the event and can give you better photos.

  • Wedding photos

Make sure that there are enough wedding photos to be taken on your big day. Sure, you cannot get enough of checking out photos of your wedding. Tell your photographer to take as many pictures as they can. If you are expecting a huge wedding, best to hire more than one photographer so every corner of the wedding will be taken.

  • Cocktails

One of the things that couples usually forget to have extra is cocktails. Do not expect that everyone will just get one or two shots. Some will get more, so it is best if you have enough to serve your guests. The same goes for beer and other alcoholic beverages. Just make sure you have enough, do not supply your guests too many alcoholic beverages though as it may spoil the peacefulness and intimacy of your wedding.

  • Patience

Yes, another thing you have to bring enough to your wedding is patience. The wedding celebration itself can be very stressful, there are things you plan that may not materialize, stay calm, and be very patient. Be very patient with your guests too. You also have to be a bit patient as the photographer asks you to strike many poses in front of the camera.

The saying patience is a virtue is definitely applicable to weddings.

  • Champagne

If you are planning to give everyone champagne for the wedding toast, make sure that you have enough. Some, only bring a few bottles making some of their guests not having a glass of champagne to lift for the toast. Anyway, all of the excess champagne can be brought home so you do not need to worry about wasted money.

It is a general rule in weddings that it is better excess than short. Make sure that you have enough supply of everything. To know more tips and guide for your wedding, click this link: https://www.callablanche.com/post/the-ultimate-brides-survival-guide/
